The kindergarten reading program, Super Kids, is moving along nicely. We have completed the following Super Kids: Cass, Oswald and Golly. We are now working on Alf. Each new character introduces a new letter and sound. They all have a song associated with the individual character and something of interest about each of them. The colorful books used by the students are also both fun and educational.
In PE, many of the students have been working on hockey skills. The older students have been playing floor hockey games while the younger ones have been working on dribbling and passing skills. I also wanted to incorporate a little Halloween fun in their lesson this week, so some of the classes did a dance to Monster Mash and others did that as well as Witch Doctor. These were both highly aerobic, and it's possible you may have a tired child tonight from all the activity!
Have a great weekend!
